Tenant FAQs

Yes. Most rentals require a full months security deposit which must be paid at the time your lease agreement is signed. In some cases, a larger security deposit may be required.
Yes: At the conclusion of your lease we will make an inspection of the property. Assuming all of the terms of your lease agreement have been met, and the property has not been damaged, your security deposit will be refunded in full, subject to any unpaid charges or reimbursement for damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Rent is generally due on the 1st of each month. Please see your signed lease agreement for details regarding specific due dates and late fees.
Most homes managed by us accept pets. Please review our Statement of Rental Policy (Rental Policy Link). For insurance purposes, we cannot accept aggressive breed dogs. Pet rules vary from home to home, so please ask about the pet policy for the home you are interested in. Tenants with unapproved pets may be held liable for breach of contract.
Unless otherwise noted in your lease agreement, Tenants are responsible for all utilities. However, tenants are not responsible for Homeowner’s Association Fees. Tenants may be responsible for Homeowner’s Association Fines during the tenancy.
Any person living in the home that is age eighteen or older must complete our rental application. Please review our Statement of Rental Policy (Rental Policy Link).
NO. Due to forgery of credit reports, Crown Property Management will run your credit/tenant screening reports.
You may pre-approve a paint color by obtaining written approval from Landlord/Agent and if painting is approved, have your home professionally painted at your expense. You may not alter the property whatsoever without prior written approval. Any damage (including from hanging pictures or decorating) must be restored to its original condition at the Tenant’s expense upon move-out.

You can drop off your rent with the Ivy Springs Executive Suites building receptionist, alternately you can drop your rent in our 24 hour exterior drop box. For more information regarding the drop box location at our office, please contact our office.
